The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines a hero as, “one who shows great courage”. Suicide is a serious and scary issue with very real life and death outcomes, but with the right tools, YOU could be the HERO that courageously helps someone struggling with thoughts of suicide.

In this free webinar, we will discuss:

  • How to Spot Warning Signs of Suicidal or In-Crisis Individuals
  • Definition of QPR
  • How to Reduce the Risk of Suicide

Learn how you can make a positive difference in the life of someone who needs help.

Presenter: Boyd Shannon, MS, LPC | Crisis Intervention Counselor – Smithfield Middle School

Hosted by Christ’s Haven for Children’s Family Resource Center
