2022 Golf Classic A Success!

Drumroll please…we are thrilled to announce that $81,000 was raised at the recent Christ’s Haven Golf Classic!

That’s $81,000 to provide Normalcy, Dignity, and Hope in the lives of displaced youth. We appreciate all of the sponsors, golfers, and volunteers who made that happen. Be sure to check out the event PHOTO ALBUM from the fun day of golf.

Mother’s Day

On this Mother’s Day, we honor the mother who made the difficult decision
to raise their hands and ask Christ’s Haven for help in caring for their children.

We honor your bravery and your love for your children.

Sometimes the joy of reunification is possible.

Sometimes it’s reconciliation.

Sometimes ensuring your children are safe and healthy is your loving gift.

In every unique situation, we are grateful for your trust in Christ’s Haven and honor you as we partner together.

Family Resource Center Awarded Grant & Funding

Christ’s Haven is thrilled to announce that we were selected as a grant recipient of the Fort Worth Crime Control and Prevention District (CCPD) to develop and fund our Family Resource Center.

The Family Resource Center (FRC) was created to stand in the gap for families in need. Families can find a range of services – from parenting classes, to counseling, to food boxes, and more – all in one place.

Our goal is to serve families in our community who are in crisis, including families at risk of placing their children outside of their homes or going into foster care. We aim to provide whole family care and wrap-around support to the biological families of children in our residential program. We also want to support and come alongside families who are pursuing reunification.

As Christ’s Haven grows, we continue to stay committed to our mission and core values of providing normalcy, dignity, and hope to displaced children, teens, and young adults. We are grateful for these new opportunities to further expand that support and meet needs in our community.

If you would like more information about utilizing FRC services or would like to help with the FRC, you can contact Rhonda Thomas-Peters, Family Resource Coordinator/Case Manager, rhonda@christshaven.org.
