Christ’s Haven recently released its 2025 Annual Report showing significant impact and growth. Some of the 2025 highlights include:
  • 67% increase of intake calls
  • 89% sibling groups living with at least one of their siblings
  • 100% high school students with a 2.75+ GPA
  • 82% young adults enrolled in secondary education
  • 861 in-person Food Pantry appointments for Family Resource Center clients
  • 312 unduplicated families served through Family Resource Center
All of this was possible due to the incredible generosity of our donors. As a privately-funded organization, each donation is critical to providing our trauma-informed, family model of care for displaced youth.

This year’s Annual Report also shares the beautiful story of a transformational gift that will impact future generations of youth living at Christ’s Haven for decades to come.

Each statistic and data point point to the many ways that Normalcy, Dignity, and Hope happen at Christ’s Haven.

TCU Students Invest in the Christ’s Haven Mission

Christ’s Haven was recently selected by TCU’s Honors College “Philanthropy & Giving” class to receive a generous $20,000 gift.

This wasn’t just a simple selection process. Students spent an entire semester vetting 85 different nonprofits, narrowing the field down to just 10. The decision-making process involved:

Deep Research: An extensive site visit and a rigorous Q&A session as well as multiple reports throughout the semester.

The Big Debate: A dedicated team of five students advocated for on behalf of Christ’s Haven during a grueling 10-hour class debate.

The Final Vote: A full-class consensus to award Christ’s Haven and nine other organizations these impactful funds.

It was an extensive and impressive process seeing the hard work and research the students contributed. They asked the questions and did the work to understand Christ’s Haven’s mission and unique programs.

Thank you to the students and donors for this generous gift that will provide normalcy, dignity, and hope in the lives of displaced youth.

Child Abuse Prevention Month

Compilation of Child Abuse Prevention Month Blue Pinwheel Display with volunteers
382 Pinwheels in honor of CAPM
In honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month, you might see blue pinwheels on display across town. Each pinwheel is in honor of a confirmed victim of child abuse in Tarrant County in 2025:

💙 382 victims of child abuse in Tarrant County each month
💙 88 victims of child abuse in Tarrant County each week

At Christ’s Haven, we believe one victim of child abuse is one too many. We work toward and strive for the HOPE that all children are safe from abuse. 💙

Thank you to Hillwood Properties, Just for Grins Family Dentistry and Orthodontics, and Keller Public Safety for displaying the pinwheels and helping raise awareness about the need for child abuse prevention.

Also a thank you to volunteers from Holman HQ and Broker Online Exchange for installing the pinwheels.

New Indoor Playscape

Christ’s Haven has a new play area for younger kids to enjoy. This indoor playscape is adjacent to the Workout Gym in the ICEHOUSE, making it a big help when houseparents want to get in a workout and have little ones. It will also be a great option when weather is bad and they need somewhere inside to burn off energy. The playscape includes a slide, monkey bars, and a climbing net. A great place for kids to explore and imagine.

Thank you to The Roop Foundation for funding this wonderful addition to Christ’s Haven’s neighborhood of homes.
